Every conference session touched on the intersection of trade secrets with AI, cybersecurity, and employment relationships. Representatives of different industries shared their unique experiences and practices applied in different companies, such as the existence of separate departments dealing with trade secrets. Participants emphasized the importance of multi-stage confidentiality policies: high-quality trade secret protection includes not only NDAs but also regular confidentiality reminders and effective protection on the employees’ exit.
Finally, each policy should be simple to be understandable not only to lawyers, but also to every employee who is involved in the data that constitutes a trade secret.
